in the early 2000s and again during the imposition of remote learning during the first year of the COVID outbreak in 2020-21; emergence of UD United to oppose school closure and masking and more recent opposition to possible location of school bus terminal at “Field of Dreams” or near Fort Washington Elementary School. (Note receipt of $10,000 contribution to the 2021 school board campaign committee from Pennsylvania political action committee opposed to school closings appears to be the only significant outside political contribution to Upper Dublin school board campaigns)
