Voter Registration and Turnout

Voter registration change and voting from strongly GOP until 1990 or so, with changeover from entirely GOP at each level of government in early 1970s to all Democratic delegations of state and federal legislators and U.S. senators, Governor and President representing Upper Dublin in January 2024 (impact of Clinton, Obama and Trump presidential votes in 1992, 2008 and 2016 and 2020 and Rendell gubernatorial primary election in 2002 and eventually the Upper Dublin Board of Commissioners and Upper Dublin School Board, ), with the GOP retaking a U.S. Senate seat in 2024 as well as reelecting President Trump.

Upper Dublin has been among the five highest Montgomery County municipalities in percentage of registered voters voting in both primaries and general elections.
